{"id":3997,"date":"2020-06-20T09:59:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-20T07:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/wordpress_test\/?p=3997"},"modified":"2020-06-20T09:59:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-20T07:59:00","slug":"dalloway-day-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stolb01web.ddns.net\/wordpress\/?p=3997","title":{"rendered":"Dalloway Day 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More recent than <a href=\"http:\/\/stolb01web.ddns.net\/wordpress\/bloomsday-2020\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3896\">Bloomsday<\/a>, but showing signs of becoming a permanent fixture of the literary calendar, is <a href=\"https:\/\/rsliterature.org\/dalloway-day\/\">Dalloway Day<\/a> &#8211; this year the <em>Royal Society of Literature<\/em> takes the 96th Wednesday after that of Clarissa Dalloway&#8217;s party into the virtual world &#8211;  to which we are still bound by virtue [sic] of the corona pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bl.uk\/english-and-drama\/2020\/06\/for-it-was-the-middle-of-june-dalloway-day.html?_ga=2.34256481.1533805100.1592235020-1908828007.1591875398\" target=\"_blank\">British Library blog<\/a> also has an entry with their own contributions, and cross referencing to the RSL and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Especially interesting this year, and in light of the discussions about race, is an aural tour exploring the black heritage on London streets once walked perhaps by a Mrs. Dalloway and most certainly by Virginia Woolf.
