But, having just <a href=\"https:\/\/stolb01web.ddns.net\/wordpress\/?p=13372\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"13372\">listened to her<\/a> and been reminded, I am encouraged to remedy this omission in the near future. Batuman&#8217;s recently released novel, <em>Either\/Or<\/em>, has been very well received, and I have always had a penchant for the <em>bildungsroman<\/em> (as do some whose <em>bildung<\/em> only ever got so tend to have), or as which it was so described somewhere. This new work is, in fact, a sequel to her 2017 &#8211; also highly praised &#8211; book, <em>The Idiot<\/em>, and so I may have to read that first &#8211; if only to find out what <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Idiot\" target=\"_blank\">Dostoevsky<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Either\/Or\" target=\"_blank\">Kierkegaard<\/a> have in common, and what they both have in common with Batuman and her protagonist (be they not somehow the same!).
